Courses Taught: 674 - Domestic Violence Clinic
Professor Thomas came to the Domestic Violence Clinic in summer 2004 with more than six years experience as a prosecuting attorney. She spent more than five years as an assistant state's attorney in Jackson County, Illinois, including three and a half years prosecuting domestic batteries and domestic violence related crimes. She also served for more than a year as a state appellate prosecutor for the Illinois 5th District, handling first degree murder and aggravated sexual assault cases. She taught in the Administration of Justice and Paralegal Studies programs at Southern Illinois University during the 2003–04 academic year. |
