Housing - Now that you have been admitted into SIU Law’s M.L.S. program, your next step may be to secure housing in the Carbondale area.
On our website you will find a list of landlords and property managers. This is not an exhaustive list but rather was created from referrals and recommendations given to us by our law students. Consequently, we can neither guarantee nor recommend a particular landlord or property manager.
Another source is the classifieds from our regional area newspaper, the Southern Illinoisan , or the University’s award-winning newspaper, the Daily Egyptian. You may want to expand your search to the surrounding towns of Murphysboro, Makanda, DeSoto, Carterville, Crainville, Cambrian, Energy or Herrin.

Financial Information – At this time, we are not able to offer any scholarships or financial assistance to M.L.S. students. The Graduate School does have a list of funding resources on their website (http://www.gradschool.siuc.edu/prospective_grad.html).
