International Law Programs
As the legal profession has changed, and society has become increasingly globally connected, SIU Law has stayed ahead of the curve. Our students learn from faculty with global ties that empower them to take their learning beyond borders and to another level.
SIU students and faculty are involved in a variety of international law courses and scholarly activities.
Each year, SIU faculty members and students engage in international and comparative law research, conferences, and other projects that connect them with professionals across the globe.
Students study abroad, compete in international law moot court competitions, provide pro bono service through the Immigration Detention Project, and participate in an active student-run International Law Society.
Students take advantage of opportunities to study abroad through participation in SIU Law's Legal Globalization courses as well as longer study abroad programs.
SIU School of Law is proud to host scholars from international universities who share their research and their culture with our students and faculty.
