Assistant Professor Jennifer Brobst to facilitate panel for Delta Leadership Institute

Assistant Professor Jennifer Brobst will facilitate an invited panel for the Delta Leadership Institute in Little Rock Arkansas on March 8, 2017, focusing on rural health policy in Southern Illinois and in the Delta Region.
The panelists will highlight the efforts of recent innovative SIU public health projects, as well as take away lessons for other regional leaders in the eight states federally supported by the Delta Regional Authority.
The panel is part of the session of the Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy focusing on Public Health and Education. This is number four in a series of seven sessions for the twelfth class of the Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy. Three of the Illinois delegates to this class of Academy are alumni of SIU School of Law.

According to their website, the Delta Regional Authority is a federal-state partnership created by Congress in 2000 to help create jobs, build communities, and improve lives through strategic investments in economic development in 252 counties and parishes across eight states.
