Diane M. Speir is in a solo private practice located in Murphysboro, Illinois. She was admitted to the bar of the State of Illinois in 1992 and has been practicing law in Illinois ever since. Her areas of practice include immigration, naturalization, and family law. She also provides mediation services for parents in custody disputes. Previously she was a partner in the Speir and Whitney law firm from 1997 to 2011.
She holds a B.S. degree from Illinois State University in Music Therapy. She worked as a music therapist in Kansas, California, and Illinois. She obtained a juris doctor degree from Southern Illinois University in 1992.
She is a longtime member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Southern Illinois American Inn of Court, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
