Professor Lee regularly teaches Criminal Law, Law and Economics, and a variety of business related courses, including Antitrust, Agency and Partnership, Corporations, and Securities Regulation. He serves as both a consulting attorney in antitrust, business organization, securities, and regulatory matters and as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and the N.Y. Stock Exchange. His publications include Organizing Corporate and Other Business Enterprises(6th ed., LexisNexis, 2000, with annual supplements) (with Leonard Gross) and Antitrust Law and Local Government(Greenwood Press 1985).

Professor Lee has also taught at other universities in Europe and the United States. In Europe, he has taught at the University of Salerno, the University of Macerata, the University of Naples II, the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (courtesy of a Fulbright), Katholieke Universiteit Brussel (courtesy of the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research), and the University of Warwick. In the U.S., Professor Lee has taught at Georgetown, American University Washington College of Law, Gonzaga University, the University of Colorado, the University of Miami, the University of San Diego, and Washington University in St. Louis.

Professor Lee serves on the Board of Advisors of the Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of San Diego Law School. In 2004, he served as Assessor for the University of Qatar. He has also served on the Illinois Blue Ribbon Telecommunications Task Force (1990-91) and the Illinois Sunset Task Force on Utility Regulation Reform (1982-84). Before he came to SIU in 1977, Professor Lee practiced for the United States Department of Justice and the Attorney General of Texas. He obtained his law degree with high honors from the University of Texas and his B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.
