Alice M. Noble-Allgire

Professor Noble-Allgire is engaged in a variety of professional at the national, state, and local levels. She has served as an associate editor of the American Bar Association’s Probate and Property magazine since January 2001 and is currently servings as a co-reporter for a Uniform Law Commission project to revise the Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act. She has served on a number of Illinois State Bar Association committees since 1999 and received the ISBA's Board of Governors Award in 2008 for helping to design a statewide Diversity Pipeline program to encourage more minority students to traverse the educational pipeline into the legal profession. The program was launched as the ISBA/JTBF Law and Leadership Institute with its first residential camp at the SIU School of Law in the summer of 2012. Locally, she is a member of the Jackson County Bar Association and a former Secretary-Treasurer of the Southern Illinois American Inn of Court. She also periodically accepts pro bono legal cases from the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.
