Student Employment

A limited number of positions working with faculty on research projects are available to law students. Law professors will let students know of availability.

Law students are also able to obtain positions outside of the School of Law but within the SIU system. Find out more about the process here.

Those students who wish to utilize an Illinois Student Practice License (711 License) must have completed 45 hours of law credit and be in good academic standing. Having a 711 License allows students to represent clients and appear in court under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
